Hi, My 10 yr old dd was diagnosed w/ Complex Regional Pain Syndrome in June after slipping on the stairs in May.
Then:
migrating joint pain (wrists, elbows, knees, ankles, trigger finger) with muscle dysfunction - knee won't bend, arm won't straighten
When the pain migrates it also brings tremors or spasms that last anywhere from 1 night to 1 week.
Just as one pain starts to decrease a new pain area begins.
The previous area remains painful for weeks.
Blind spots for 6 weeks, double vision for a few weeks
decreased hearing as measured by BAER sensitity to cold thirsty sensitive to noise
She also gets an occasional itchy rash inside elbow, wrist, back of knee. We did not think it was associated. He ped. thought it looked like a scabies rash, but she did not have scabies.
Her Elisa test was negative. She has been diabnosed w/ musculoskelatial pain syndrome of unknown cause.
She is taking Biaxin for a sinus infection. She is remarkable better - she has not has a new migrating pain location in 25 days. She only has pain in her L ankle & her PT thinks she may have sprained it. The other minor symptoms have disappeared.
I'm hoping to find someone who will keep her on antibiotics. What do you think?
THANK YOU for taking the time to read this!
