Dear members, I have an on going Federal Workers Compensation case for the last 3 years. I have an approved Federal Workers Compensation claim for Lyme Disease, Babesiosis, Ehrlichiosis and Bartonella.(Also Mycoplasma Fermentan which they will not approve).
I was infected at my Federal employment job back in 1992, I hung on until November of 2007 when I had to file for disability.
I am collecting SSI and a small disability retirement thru my direct former place of work but I have been fighting the US Department of Labor (DOL) for benefits for the last 3 years.
The DOL once again are sending me to a doctor who I do not think is a LLMD, his name is Dr. James Wade of the Medical Associates located in Lynchburg VA. Has anyone heard of or been to this doctor?
I am going to speak with my attorney requesting a LLMD of our choice, I found one whom I think is a LLMD in Virginia Beach VA, a DR. Donald L. Has anyone ever heard or been to him?
Any information that anyone can provide will be greatly appreciated, it`s been hell the last 3 years not only fighting multiple tick borne diseases but fighting the Government also. I don`t know which is worse at this point. Be well to all on this board. POP
