I am a 41 yr old adult male. I live in metro Boston area. I am looking for llmd doctor to diagnose or rule out lymes.
I have Been treated for rheumatoid arthritis for 10 yrs
Up until recently, I have spent a great deal of time outdoors and have removed ticks from myself, my kids and dogs, so I have been in contact with plenty of ticks.
Current symptoms are terrible burning feet symptoms which are worst when sitting but seem to get worse as the day progresses. Burning legs and hands at times. Difficulty sleeping, tired, headache, fatigue, difficult mood, etc ....
Over the last year, I have been on prednisone off and on frequently and enbrel to manage rheum. Symptoms. I stopped both medications as the above symptoms became unbearable in august.
I have seen dr. After doctor (neurologist, neurosurgeon, rheum) and all of the alternatives (chiro, accu, yoga) test after test (MRI of entire spine) and three courses of cortisone injections in different parts of the back.
Based on the info. Posted here, it seems the only approach to determining if positive for limes is finding a specialist.
I would welcome any suggestions.

Your symptoms sound like a combination of Lyme and one or more tick borne co infections.
I suggest reading Dr. B's Advanced Topics in Lyme Disease and of course seeing a LLMD.
You will find many LLMD's not taking new patients and you may have to travel far for treatment plus it is not a quick cure.
