Hi there, I was diagnosed in Oct after having being bitten in July. I had a bad reaction to doxy and then that just got worse when i was switched to amoxicillian. I was in the hospital for 3 1/2 days and am now terrifed to go back on antibiotics. I live in AZ but do not know a Dr who is Lyme Literate. I have recently seen Dr L in Va and may have to go back for treatment with him. Has anyone every heard of the 5 antibiotic treatment? Is there any way to know if my reaction that put me in the hospital was a Herx or the meds? Do you have a Herx no matter what med you go on? Any dr's in AZ that are recommended? Any information is appreciated!! THANK YOU!
