I have a 15 yo son that contracted Lyme Disease in 8/09. It was not diagnosed until 12/09 and by that time it was in his spinal fluid, etc... He was treated but has since suffered joint inflammation, eye ticks, etc.. and now has a bad case of shingles, which is very rare in a 15 y.o. I'm wondering if these ongoing ailments are due to lingering Lyme Disease and would like to consult a LLMD. Thank you!

I'm sorry to hear your story. Teenagers and illness is never fun. The shingles are a sign of a weakened immune system.
