NEED to find a specialist in AZ for my husband. After a year of testing and "procedures" the "specialists" diagnosed my husband with alzheimer's disease/frontal temporal dementia. Thanks to our son and daughter-in-law watching "Under Our Skin" on PBS, our son encouraged us to have my husband tested for Lyme Disease. VOILA - POSITIVE. The PCP has NEVER had a patient with Lyme Disease, had to go to his computer for information and what to RX. Started him on Doxycyline Hyclate for 30 days and antibiotic IV for 14 days beginning tomorrow. Is this correct and/or something else required?!?!?
