My son is 20 years old and was diagnoised in Feb. 2011 with Lyme. We currently see a LLDR in Mich. and not having much luck with getting better.
My son mainly has neuro-Lyme. He had to take off last year from college and we thought he would be returning this fall but no such luck. He has no ability to comprehend and remember.
He also has terrible headaches everyday. He has pain in his fingertips but mainly it is his cognitive thinking that has been effected the most.
We do have an appt with a Dr. in New York but looking to see if anyone has any recommendations with New York doctors or nuero-Lyme drs. in the east. Thanks so much!!
