I am currently seeing a homeopath in Dallas. We believe I have Lyme and would like a referral for a llMD near me. I had the rash in May after a camping trip. I thought it was spider bites. I did a round of steroids for a herniated disc in July. A week later my symptoms started. If anyone can get me some info soon, that would be fantastic.

Thank You,
Ashley Bell Brown

OH my. Steroids and Lyme do NOT mix. They make the Lyme go deeper. That is why you suddenly got worse.

There aren't any good LLMDs in TX ..

If you have not already, try B. She is an amazing Homeopath who suffers from Lyme herself. She uses EDS and Homeopathic medicines.

** edited to remove Lyme practitioner's name per Lymenet terms of use. Please send that kind of information via private message **

Check the online state Lyme groups at:
http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/Texaslyme

Maybe they can help you.

Some more resources for you:

www.ilads.org
www.lymediseaseassociation.org

Once you get some names, write a new post in "Seeking a Doctor" to ask for personal references. this way, you will find the right doctor to give you the correct treatment.

TexasLymie.. You brought up a very old post. Ashleybrown is likely not even going to see this. When you bring up OLD posts (esp in Seeking), it causes current posts to drop farther down the page.
