I am desperately trying to find a Dr. who will test me further for Lyme. I have been symptomatic for a year and a half, but after going to an ortho Dr. and to Rheumy's, I am just being told that I have RA and to deal with it by my current MD. I had them test for Lyme anyway, and the p23IgM band came up positive. I know when I go back to my Dr. in 2 weeks and ask for further testing she is going to shrug at that. My dog also has symptoms, and had never gotten tested for Lyme but had multiple bllod tests and xrays that show nothing. I am at my wit's end. I have been an RN for almost 11years and just know that something else is wrong. I was an active, perfectly healthy 34 until May of last year, and since am barely able to move. I struggle just to get through work everyday, and my family does not know how I do it. Someone please help!!! P.s I live in CLearwater Florida which is in the Tampa Bay area
