I'm from NH and see Dr. R in NY and have been in treatment for almost 5 years. My son (adult) who lives in DC was diagnosed in January and was in NH at the time and been seeing a LLMD here even after living in DC.
Today, he had a phone appointment and since he's been having extreme numbness in his legs, the LLMD suggested he see a Neurologist.
Since I know most of us have gone that root and just beat our head against a wall, I was wondering if there is a Lyme Literate Neurologist in the DC area.
We know he could get in to see Dr J in DC but are there some less expensive options in this part of the country?
I'm at a loss as to where to refer him since I know nothing of the DC area. Can anyone send any PM's with guidance on this one?
