Hi, I had Lyme Disease undiagnosed for 7 years until I figured out what tied my symptoms together and went to a LLMD. After a course of antibiotics my joint symptoms all disappeared! But my hormone imbalance did not (my periods stopped and I experienced intense hair loss which hasn't yet subsided). I have been taking hormones for 5 years but my (non LLMD) doctor doesn't see it as being related to Lyme. I suspect there may be another treatment approach and would like to see a Lyme doctor with experience with hormone imbalances due to Lyme Disease. I live in southern CT and looking for doctor in area or in NY City.
