55 year old female diagnosed with lyme in 2008,2 years after my tick bite and rash and subsequent severe flu like symptoms.Was initially tested for Lyme with negative results and put on doxycyclene for 2 weeks. Presented with arthritic like pain and swollen knees in 2008 and the fluid tested positive.
I have been living with intense bouts of physical pain since the diagnosis(neck, back, knee)continual fluid in my left knee and loss of memory function. Currently my cognitive thinking is extremely compromised and I feel like i am going crazy.
