I am looking for a LLMD in Florida, and possibly one with knowledge of the effect of lyme disease and psychiatric meds. Thank you:-)

Welcome to Lymenet!
"Up" means your post has been pushed up to the top since no-one answered you. This way, maybe others will read it and respond.
Maybe they can help you find a LLMD (=Lyme-literate doctor).

Don't know where you are but we are in Central Florida and had to go 80 miles to find a Dr C ***. He is Lyme literate, gave us a lot of talk time and we are about to embarq on his protocol. We got to the point of desperation looking for a doctor and finding only a bunch of yahoos around our immediate area.
**edited name and city of an LLMD per rules**

Thank you hopingandpraying for letting me know what 'up' means:-) and for the yahoo group info.
@jks, I was visiting family in your area (in the woods off 42), and was bitten 3 mths ago. Thank you for the name, I figured it best to try to go straight to an LLMD if I could find one. My dr has already washed her hands of me. Would you be willing to email me or if you can tell me here what he suggested or what i should expect? With all these symptoms, it seems so confusing.

Tinah- PM me. I have all info on Florida and resources. We have a wonderful, active FB support group that is a plethora of current information. JKS, I think you have to remove the doctors name on this board Posted by Sammi (Member # 110) on :
jks, please edit your post to show Dr. C. and not the doctor's full name. We don't post full names on the board.
