Hi, I was just diagnosed with late stage lyme disease about a week ago, although I was originally tested about 6 years ago. I have pretty severe gastroparesis so taking oral antibiotics is going to be a challenge. Does anyone have any experience with this or some helpful hints on how to cope with the antibiotics. I am already feeling very sick and sore after a week of amoxicillin at a very low dose. Thank you.

Be sure to log on so you can see if you have any PMs each time you visit this site. The PM icon will not flash if you don't log on.

Since there are no LLMDs in Oregon, included below are ways you can find LLMDs in California.

Many in Oregon go out of state for a LLMD but also have a LL ND (LL naturopathic doctor) for support in Oregon. Some may find a LL ND who can handle all aspects of their treatment. It just depends upon the patient's needs and the particular LL NDs expertise.

Be aware that not all NDs in Oregon are LL, only a very few.

The local support groups can guide you. Best of luck.
