I am a 30 year old male who lives in central Pennsylvania but will go almost anywhere for good treatment. I have also spent most of my free time outside since childhood. Ten months ago I was bitten by a tick. About a month to 6 weeks later I began to notice nerve/muscle fasciculations. It was months later that I realized this was a possible symptom of Lyme disease. Since the original fasciculations they can now pretty much pop up anywhere throughout my body from eyes, legs, arms, hands, face, and stomach. I have subsequently had unexplained joint and muscle pain, fatigue, and trouble finding the correct word to use. I am looking for a referral for a possible diagnosis/treatment. I am not sure if I need to see an LLMD or ND or both any help would be greatly appreciated and guarded. Thank you all for doing what you do!

PM sent.

Btw - please break up your posts into 2-3 sentence paragraphs, as there are people on Lymenet who cannot read large blocks of text, due to neurological problems from Lyme. Thanks.

brian, many in your part of PA come to Maryland or D.C. for lyme treatment. I can give you some names and tell you how they treat.

Great D.C. doc has about a 2 month wait for first appointment. You can do telephone appointments after that if you prefer. Let me know if you want the names and info. Send me a private message--just click on the envelope above my post.

Cracker Jack - did you mean "LLNDs"?

I have several names of LLMDs, which I sent.
