My Mother was biten by a tick approx. 6 weeks ago (end of May) After being sick (text book symtoms) and a rash all over her body she finally went to her Family Doctor.
Blood test came back positive last Friday for Lyme disease.
Doctor has her on doxcycline 100 mg, 2x day for 14 days - not sure this is the proper dosage.
We need to find a LLMD in Pennyslvania as she is getting facial numbness now and still sick.
