Just received my iGeneX testing back and from what I can tell from my research, and have been told, is positive for Lyme (+41, IND 39, +58, ++83-93/ equivocal IFA) with ongoing symptoms for 3 1/2 years.
My problem now is that I live in Florida and need a good LLMD. I am on the East Coast (Satellite Beach, south of Cocoa Beach, Daytona Beach area) but realize that I am going to have to travel. If I have to travel out of state to receive the treatment I need, I will, as I am not interested in "doc hopping".
I am a nurse, so am familiar with the "doc shuffle" and have been to more than I care to repeat at this moment with more testing over the last 3 1/2 years trying to figure out what this was.
I am in the process of researching some names that I have been given in Florida but am looking for the "top docs" who actually have a track record of "curing" people. I am not "bed bound", but at many times think I can spend the day there!! Just want to get back to my once very active lifestyle....
You all seem so very knowledgeable and I only hope as I learn more about all of this maybe I can also one day be. Only I can not seem to "absorb" anything these days..... Thank you in advance!!
