Has anybody been to or heard of Envita? They say they treat Lyme in a whole new way connecting a sugar molecule to the abx so that the Lyme biofilm breaks down and accepts the abx. Plus they have a 'well rounded' approach with support and nutrition etc.

Wondering if anybody has had success with them or if they r just another group of people trying to take advantage of us. Of course they r not covered by insurance.

Any help is appreciated. [confused]

I went there for quite awhile and spent A LOT of money there. They are VERY expensive. I walked away no better than the day I arrived. I personally would not recommend them to anyone.

The consensus on this site is that they are not good for "curing" Lyme. Find a good LLMD.

Envita is NOT ILADS "educated" - why that matters?

http://flash.lymenet.org/scripts/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=2;t=013239;p=0

What is a LLMD? LL ND? What is ILADS?

WHY you need an ILADS "educated" or "minded" Lyme Literate doctor (whether MD or ND, or both) - starting with assessment / evaluation for lyme, OTHER tick-borne diseases, and other chronic stealth infections - and all that goes along for the ride.

Medical "models" explained here, as to differences in the ISDA & ILADS models of assessment & treatment - and exactly why it is so very important to know the differences.

Most ILADS LLMDs and LL NDs should know this, and beyond (others will not. And you need a doctor who is up to speed on this):

Dr. Alan MacDonald: Pathologist, Lyme Disease Expert (an ILADS member researcher, not a treating physician)
