I am a 37 year old female that has been sick for at least 12 years.

I was finally diagnosed last year with Anaplasmosis, Lyme, Mycoplasma Pneumonia, Mono, Epstein Barr, Cytomegla Virus, HHV6, dysbiosis, and Candida.

I have reached a limit to what my Lyme Literate PA can do. My muscle and neurological symptoms continue to get worse.

I have been taking herbal and antibiotic therapies and it has not even touched my neck, shoulder, rib, lower back, hip, and foot pain.

We so badly want to adopt. I have to get better than this! Where do I go?

Welcome to Lymenet! PM sent for NC, VA & MD.

You need to be evaluated and treated by a Lyme-literate doctor (LLMD). Non LLMDs have no clue about this horrible disease or its complex treatment!

Also, most LLMDs do not take insurance due to the politics surrounding this disease. Read poster TF's explanation about this:

"Why Lyme Doctors Don't Take Insurance"

Check the online state Lyme groups at:
http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/northcarolinalyme

Maybe they can help.

Some more resources (including Support Group info):

The top LLMD, Dr. H, has written a new book entitled, "Why Can't I Get Better?". It is a very good source of information.

Also read "Cure Unknown" by Pamela Weintraub. Check your local library or buy it used on Amazon.
