Seeking doctor for accurate testing in middle Tennessee.

Our child's chiropractor and allergist have both mentioned it as a possibility.

Thank you for any direction and help.

Welcome to Lymenet! PM sent for MO.

You need to be evaluated and treated by a Lyme-literate doctor (LLMD). Non LLMDs have no clue about this horrible disease or its complex treatment!

They are far and few between, unfortunately. You need to go where they are.

Also, most LLMDs do not accept insurance due to the politics surrounding this horrible disease. Read poster TF's explanation, "Why Lyme Doctors Don't Take Insurance":

http://flash.lymenet.org/scripts/ultimatebb.cgi/topic/2/15615?#000005

When calling for an appointment, ask if they have any cancellations or a waiting list. Patients have been able to get in sooner to see a LLMD by doing this.

Check the online state Lyme groups at:
https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/TennesseeLyme/info

Maybe they can help.

The top LLMD, Dr.H, has written a new book entitled, "Why Can't I Get Better?". It is an excellent source of information.

Read "Cure Unknown" by Pamela Weintraub. Get it at your local library or buy it used on Amazon.

Nothing much in TN .. I can vouch for the wonderful Dr in MO, however!

I'm from East TN and travel to DC. If you're in West TN though, I've heard good things about Lymetoo's doctor in MO.

Makes me want to go to med school and live in Nashville and help all the TN folks :-/
