I Have been sick for a 2 long years. 7 years ago I test positive on two bands of a Western Blot test. My recent test came back negative. My digestive system is basically non functioning. My health is failing quickly. My body is not absorbing nutrients. Recently I had a endoscopy the doctors found h eplori (spelling sorry) overload. I have constant pain in my stomach and upper and lower GI. I can't find a doctor to take my lyme concerns seriously. I also have anxiety I have never experienced. Any help please.

I am a single mom with three kids one who has autism. Any information would be so helpful. Feel so alone with this and scared.

Thank you so much for any help.
blessing to all.

Welcome to Lymenet! PM sent for NH & MA.

So sorry you are going through this. You have come to the right place for help.

You need to be evaluated and treated by a Lyme-literate doctor (LLMD). Non LLMDs have no clue about this horrible disease or its complex treatment!

They are far and few between, unfortunately. You need to go where they are.

Most LLMDs do not accept insurance due to the politics surrounding this horrible disease. Read poster TF's explanation, "Why Lyme Doctors Don't Take Insurance":

http://flash.lymenet.org/scripts/ultimatebb.cgi/topic/2/15615?#000005

When calling for an appointment, ask if they have any cancellations or a waiting list. Patients have been able to get in sooner by doing this.

Check the online state Lyme groups at:
https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/MassachusettsLyme/info

Maybe they can help.

Some more resources for you (including Support Groups info):
www.lyme-aware.org/massachusetts.html
www.lyme-aware.org/new-hampshire.html

http://www.lymenet.org/SupportGroups/UnitedStates/Massachusetts/

The top LLMD, Dr. H, has written a new book entitled, "Why Can't I Get Better?". It is an excellent source of information.

Also read "Cure Unknown" by Pamela Weintraub. Check your local library or buy it used on Amazon.

View "Under Our Skin" for free on www.hulu.com

Read www.thehumansideoflyme.net written by a now-retired Lyme-literate psychiatrist. Lyme certainly can cause all sorts of problems.

Btw - please break up your posts into 2-3 sentence paragraphs, as there are people on Lymenet who cannot read large blocks of text due neurological problems from Lyme. Thanks.
