I'm a male in my fifties. I have felt bad for over 20 years and just recently had tests that were positive for Lyme.
The Doctor put me on 30 days of antibiotics but I
have not gotten any better and the doctor did not know what else to try.
I need a M.D. that knows how to treat Lyme, Epstein Barr and other Lyme co-infections.
Due to my cognitive problems I am not able to work at the present time.
Thanks for your help.

Welcome to Lymenet! PM sent for IN.
You need to be evaluated and treated by a Lyme-literate doctor (LLMD). Non LLMDs have no clue about this horrible disease or its complex treatment!
Unfortunately, LLMDs are far and few between. You need to go where they are.
Also, most LLMDs do not take insurance due to the politics surrounding this disease. Read poster TF's explanation about this:
"Why Lyme Doctors Don't Take Insurance"

Check the online state Lyme groups at:

Maybe they can help.

The top LLMD, Dr. H, has written a new book entitled, "Why Can't I Get Better?". It is an excellent source of information.
