My daughter is pretty much in remission but thinks it's important to be treated during pregnancy. We've been traveling out of state to an ILADS clinician who, as usual, does not take insurance. We really need to find someone in CT who will treat her and does take insurance.

any suggestions will be appreciated. Thank you.

Congratulations to your daughter on the baby.

I don't know of any LL OB/GYNs in CT or LLMDs in CT who take insurance.

Check the online state Lyme groups at:
https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/ConnecticutLyme/info

Maybe they can help.

Some more resources for you (including Support Groups info):
www.lyme-aware.org/connecticut.html

http://www.lymenet.org/SupportGroups/UnitedStates/Connecticut/

They would know better about CT.

The top Lyme pediatrician, Dr. J, has put together a protocol for pregnant women with Lyme. Call his office to ask for more information.

This protocol can be followed with one's own physician. Many women have gone on to have healthy babies.

PM sent with Dr. J's contact info.
