Looking for LLMD in NJ for 30 year old male with personal and family history of Lyme disease.
Diagnosed and treated in the early 90s. Previous symptoms have returned along with new ones associated with Lyme.
I have been misdiagnosed as depression, anxiety and allergies.
I am in desperate need of a Dr in or around NJ that understands Lyme and will take me seriously.
Please refer me to the best LLMD in my area - I need the right help, whether they take insurance or not.
Thank you in advance for your kind assistance.

Welcome to Lymenet! PM sent for MD.
You need to be evaluated and treated by a Lyme-literate doctor (LLMD). Non LLMDs have no clue about this horrible disease or its complex treatment!
A LLMD is one who has treated Lyme disease and the co-infections which come with it for many years and has gotten patients well. A good one will follow Dr. B's Guidelines, the "gold standard" for Lyme treatment.
Unfortunately, LLMDs are far and few between. You need to go where they are.
Also most LLMDs do not accept insurance due to the politics surrounding this horrible disease. Read poster TF's explanation, "Why Lyme Doctors Don't Take Insurance":
