Hi. Live in Sullivan County but can drive to NYC, eastern PA, or CT.
Many symptoms; vertigo, memory problems, heart palpitations, sleep trouble. Now have unbelievable muscle and joint pain.
My MD is giving me 30 days of doxycycline and suggests that I find a Lyme specialist. She feels I have Lyme based on past and more recent tick bites.
Cardiologist and neurologist both agree with her.
A few years back this list helped me find an amazing Dr. in Boston for my husband. Last saw him on Cape. But that is too far to drive for me now.
Any suggestions closer to my home would be appreciated. Thanks and be well.

You need to be evaluated and treated by a Lyme-literate doctor (LLMD). Non LLMDs have no clue about this horrible disease or its complex treatment!
A LLMD is one who has treated Lyme disease and the co-infections which come with it for many years and has gotten patients well. A good one will follow Dr. B's Guidelines, the "gold standard" for Lyme treatment.
