I know this is a long shot here, but I met someone over the weekend from Ireland that said they had come to MA several years ago, got a bullseye, taken to the hospital where they were given ONE Doxy.

Years later now, they are having all sorts of crazy symptoms that sound VERY lyme like to me.

But she LIVES in Ireland and is headed back there this weekend.

I'm wondering if anyone here knows of any doctors in Ireland that she could go to.

She's never been tested but definitely had a bullseye and even the hospital told her it was lyme, but again, one pill doesn't seem to cut it obviously.

Any help or guidance I can give her before she leaves to go back home to Ireland would be so very appreciated.

I don't know of any LLMDs in Ireland or the UK. From what I've read, it is much worse over there than here in finding one! Most UK patients come to the US for treatment if they are able to.

Dr. H, the top Lyme-literate doctor, has written a book entitled, "Why Can't I Get Better?". It is an excellent source of information.

Have your friend also read "Cure Unknown" by Pamela Weintraub. Check the local library or buy it used on Amazon.

Same here - mine is full at 52 - maybe we have some long back-and-forth ones and that adds up? Don't know.
