Hi all, A good friend of mine is pretty certain she had Lyme and is trying to find a doctor. She lives in upstate New York. Can someone send me a list of docs in New York? I would really appreciate it! -Christina

I sent you a name for upstate NY. But, there is most likely going to be a 2-3 month wait to get in.

Your friend needs to be evaluated and treated by a Lyme-literate doctor (LLMD). Non LLMDs have no clue about this horrible disease or its complex treatment!
A LLMD is one who has treated Lyme disease and the co-infections which come with it for many years and has gotten patients well. A good one will follow Dr. B's Guidelines, the "gold standard" for Lyme treatment.
When calling for an appointment, have her ask if they have any cancellations or a waiting list. Patients have been able to get in sooner by doing this.
