The stress of not being able to get treatment here in Ontario has driven me to a level of stress I never dreamed possible. There must be someone out there who can treat - I hear stories of patients being treated here one way or the other - I am simply too sick to travel, I feel like my ability to live life depends on finding someone who will treat Lyme with antibiotics here, regardless of what the misguided doctors association tries to force doctors into doing.

Please tell me there is hope!!! I am desperate for treatment as my decline has been rapid and I fear it's going to continue without treatment soon!

Did you try contacting the Ontario support groups under Support Groups on the left side of the page?

Also try Canadian Lyme Facebook groups.

Unfortunately, the email for the Ontario support group in the link at the left did not work, it bounced back saying mailbox unavailable.

Facebook would work perhaps, except I'm not on Facebook. The lack of anonymity (having to use real first and last name) is something I'm just not comfortable with.

Thanks for the suggestions though - they are good ideas!!

I already sent this info to you before, but am repeating it again.

I would contact the Murakami Centre for Lyme. Dr. Murakami is a now-retired LLMD who was the top one in Canada when he was treating patients. It is a good resource for Canadians with Lyme:

Check the Canadian Lyme Group at:

Here is a website I found entitled, "The Lyme Maze - Navigating Lyme Disease in Canada":
