Hello,

I am looking for a list of LLMD professionals in MA.

I have been sick since 1994 under many LLMDs since

2000 with limited improvement. I am moving to MA

this summer and am looking for a doctor that can

prescribe IV if deemed necessary.

A good LLMD will follow Dr. B's Guidelines, the "gold standard" for Lyme treatment.

Unfortunately, LLMDs are far and few between. You need to go where they are. Also, you will have to ask about IV treatment when you call.

Also, most LLMDs do not take insurance due to the politics surrounding this disease. Read poster TF's explanation about this:

When calling for an appointment, ask if they have any cancellations or a waiting list. Patients have been able to get in sooner by doing this.

Read the books written by the top LLMD, Dr. H, titled, "Why Can't I Get Better?" and his new one, "How Can I Get Better?". They are an excellent source of information.

Also "Cure Unknown" by Pamela Weintraub. Check your local library or buy it used on Amazon.
