I've just been hit with RA and can barely move. I see a LL osteopath but would like to find a LL rheum. in CT

Any suggestions?

Contact The Road Back Foundation for a doctor as I discussed on your other thread.

They will give you a list of doctors. Some may be lyme literate also. Chances are, they all will be quite willing to work with your lyme doc as they treat you for this.

These docs are docs who think for themselves. Since they hold an alternate view of RA and how to treat it, they will generally be quite open to an alternate view of lyme disease also.

I don't know of any in CT.

Check the online state Lyme groups at:
https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/ConnecticutLyme/info

Maybe they can help. They would know better about CT.

Some more resources for you (including Support Groups info):

Hey 2YOUNG,

Please go to www.VirginiaLyme.org and look at the menu to your left you will see "DOCTOR REFERRALS".

Click there to find the names and contact information for health care professionals in many fields who are treating Lyme & TBD's in all of the states.

Hope you find what you need.
