I recently moved to NJ. My LLMD was in CT, but I've fortunately not experienced too many symptoms recently, so I haven't found one yet.

However, I'm getting married and I want to go to a doctor to discuss Lyme being sexually transmitted and also I want to have a doctor to discuss a potential pregnancy with.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

Hey pepper!

Welcome to LymeNet!

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding!

Hope you can find someone to assist you and work with you! I'm very pleased to see you are doing your research to make the best of it. Maybe this will help...

I have a section on the www.MarylandLyme.org website just for issues on sexual transmission. Here is the direct link to that information.

https://sites.google.com/site/marylandlyme/sexual-transmission

As for a doctor, if you go to www.MarylandLyme.org and look on the menu on the left you'll see DOCTOR REFERRALS. Click there.

The state pages at that site have listings for MD’s, PA’s, pediatricians, naturopaths, holistic doctors, chiropractors, chiropractic neurologists, speciality labs, alternative care providers, alternative dentists, acupuncturists and those treating mold exposures, Morgellon's/Lyme and MTHFR and more.

Additional information is listed by topic (lab list, alternative professionals, ALS/Lyme, treatment guidelines, ticks and diseases, NOT recommended, etc.).

Please let us know if you need any more information. OK?

Good luck to you!

Oh, and if someone tries to tell you there are no good LLMD's in NJ and you must travel to get help, don't believe it.
