I came to Colorado from the Midwest for a place to stay in exchange for writing for a professor doing research. The place had a lot of mold, so I left for Colorado Springs. I need to be in a dry climate, preferably here in the mountains.
I need a doctor that understands the tricky toxin, heavy metal, mold-sensitivity issues. Perhaps one that will take Medicare and act as a family doctor, and one that understands patients like me that can't just be blasted with antibiotics with no help for herx. I've seen a doctor in Denver that I like (Dr. K trained), but I am in Colorado Springs where housing is much cheaper. I'm honestly not well enough to drive to Denver.
I chatted with a Denver Lyme coach ($150/hour) that is mostly better. She takes phone appointments. She is recommending I see a Denver herbalist that uses ART/muscle testing. I feel too poorly to treat myself and follow through on objectives. I've been sick thirty years, and despite spending my life savings (never had a supportive partner or consistent/competent medical care), I have been getting sicker. My time to address this is critical as it seems I have 6-12 months of financial help before I am back living on $800/month disability.
