Hi. I'm seeking a doctor in CT who can treat my 16 year old daughter for psychiatric lyme and bartonella. Thanks.

One of the best neuropsychiatric Lyme and Bartonella LLMD is located in New Jersey. Also a couple in New York. Perhaps you could take a 2 hour Amtrak ride so your daughter could be seen by one of them.

You can request a LLMD through ILADS here;

https://www.ilads.org/patient-care/provider-search/

There is a message box where you can write you are looking for a Neuropsychriatrist.

I will send you a pm.
Hang in there MOM, help is on its way. 💚

Borrelia burgdorferi, the bacteria which cause Lyme, cross the blood/brain barrier so psychiatric problems can occur.

I don't know of any LLMDs in CT who specifically treat psychiatric Lyme, but am sending you some names of LLMDs who treat children/teenagers.

Check the online state Lyme groups at:
https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/ConnecticutLyme/info

Maybe they can help. They would know better about CT.
