Has anyone seen Dr. D in NY or know anyone good in the NYC area. This is for a friend who was just bitten a few days ago and developed a rash, but not a late- stage chronic case. Any help would be appreciated.

Is this Dr D an ILADS LLMD? I have no info on him but maybe others on Lymenet do.
There is a LLMD in NYCity that is devoted to preventing Lyme disease by treating tick bites IMMEDIATELY. It is her goal to see you the same day or next if you get a tick bite.
I will pm the info so your friend can be seen ASAP.
