Hi I am old member unfortunately back again! Looking for recommendations on a good doctor for my wife and I. I wanted to see Dr. H in N.Y. as he is only 75 miles from us we are in the Berkshires of Ma but he seems to not be taking new patients. I will call there tomorrow and see if we can be put on a waiting list.

Any suggestions?? Mine is mostly bad neuro symptoms relapsed or reinfected dont know but stabbing burning all over head to toe nerve pain and head pressure with some heart pain. I was diagnosed in 2010 but mostly the last 4 5 years havent treated but know realize that I need to. Thanks so much for the help. Johnny

(changing last name of LLMD to last name initial per Lymenet T&C)

Welcome back Johnny Is

You can request a LLMD through ILADS here;
https://www.ilads.org/patient-care/provider-search/

You can request a LLMD through Global Lyme Alliance here;
https://globallymealliance.org/education-awareness/find-medical-professional/

These are simple e-mail formats that you fill out. You will be notified of LLMD’s in your area. It is important that you research all LLMD’s referred to you. To do this, google for patient reviews.

I will send you a pm.
Healing wishes.

Welcome back to Lymenet! PM sent for MA & CT.

Contact the MA Lyme Support Groups - maybe they can help. They would know better about MA.

Some more resources for you (including Support Groups info):
http://whatislyme.com/lyme-and-massachusetts/

http://www.lymenet.org/SupportGroups/UnitedStates/Massachusetts/

Read the books written by the top LLMD, Dr. H, titled, "Why Can't I Get Better?" and "How Can I Get Better?". They are an excellent source of information.

Btw - please break up your posts into 2-3 sentence paragraphs, as there are people on Lymenet who cannot read large blocks of text due to neurological problems from Lyme.

To do this click the pencil/paper tab, make your changes, then click "Edit Post". Thanks.
