I have no knowledge of St Francis Lyme Disease Clinic.

To meet the region’s growing need for Lyme disease care, St. Francis Medical Center recently opened a Lyme Disease Center in Hamilton, NJ. Led by experienced infectious disease specialist Dr. Richard Porwancher, the center can diagnose and treat adults and children at ALL STAGES of Lyme disease.

A quick google search of director Dr Richard Porwancher showed various research articles he published.

Notice any of the names that co-authored his research?

It’s a who’s who’s of the IDSA (Infectious Disease Society) doc’s that deny the existence of Chronic Lyme or persistent infection.

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/19390504/

Does he treat outside the IDSA guidelines ( 30 days antibiotics max) or offer antibiotics after initial treatment failed or treat till non-symptomatic? Is he a member of ILADS ( International Lyme and Associated Disease Society)?

These are IMPORTANT questions that MUST be asked before committing to his practice.

Hopefully someone will respond with first-hand knowledge of his protocols. Good luck Caryn.

Thanks Bonnie. I had a strong feeling they were the bad guy, but my primary doctor is a capital health doctor. He is OK as a primary, but is clueless about Lyme
