I want to share some info about a LLND based in the PNW who’s been a huge help to me and others dealing with Lyme, mold, chronic infections, and other complex chronic conditions. I’m not connected to his practice financially —just a grateful patient who knows how hard it can be to find someone who “gets it.” I've mentioned to him about posting on here but he's hesitant to do because of the professional backlash and red flags that could throw to other medical professionals.

He’s incredibly thorough and doesn’t shy away from tough cases. From what I understand, a few weeks ago, the clinic he saw patients through let him go. I think it had a lot to do with the types of patients he sees (like me) who were more complex than the rest of their focus, which seemed to lean toward things like HRT, weight loss, TRT, aesthetics, etc (Nothing wrong with that at all, just very different than chronic Lyme!!!) and unfortunately didn't allow a transition period or phase out so most of his patients were left hanging because he wasn't allowed to communicate with them through the clinic. I took a chance and found him outside of it. I think a few of his other really sick patients have too.

He recently opened his own solo practice and is still taking all the insurances he was before. Because its a new practice, he has more availability than normal right now.

Any ideas on how to point people his way without causing trouble or outing him in a way that could throw red flags?

Thank you so much for posting. People who need a doctor will look here and see this and they can private message you.

Lymenet doesn’t allow LLMD names to be posted on the forum but definitely can be in private messages.

So, please be sure you have set your account to receive messages.

Blessings to you. Hope you recover fully! [Smile]

Welcome to LymeNet ExhaustedBacklash 💚

Boy your screen name hits home for all of us dealing with Tick Born Infections.

Myself and hopingandpraying answer ALL LymeNet requests for Lyme Disease and Associated Illnesses Practitioners in LymeNet’s “ Seeking A Doctor” forum.

Would you be so kind as to forward your Doctor’s info to us through the private message option?

And of course, THANK YOU for paying it forward, so appreciate this!

Bonnie

Thank you for letting us know about this LLND. The Lyme community has lost quite a few wonderful practitioners due to death or retirement (or forcible restrictions from medical boards!).

Yes ditto on that - please private message me with this good doc's information. We will be sure to add his name to our lists and pass it along to those requesting it.

Btw - please break up your posts into 2-3 sentence paragraphs, as there are people on Lymenet who cannot read large blocks of text due to neurological problems from Lyme.

To do this click the "Edit Post" icon, make your changes, then click "Edit Post". Thanks.
