I moved to AZ 9 years ago after successfully treating my Lyme. I had a fantastic provider in Seattle but have not searched in AZ.
I have a good friend that is suffering the many symptoms of LD and of course her PCM ran the “test” and it was negative. My hope is someone has a name or names we can get her seen.
She is an adult in her 50’s, with muscle and joint pain, diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue. I knew her before the cascade of symptoms and she was very active and fit, she is now a shell of who she was. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Most Lyme providers in Arizona are ND’s, or Naturopathic doctors. They have prescribing rights for most meds except schedule 1 and 11 pharmaceuticals. Their main treatment protocols are natural remedies and non-pharmaceuticals. Such as IV nutrients, biofeedback, hyperbaric oxygen, cranial stimulation, ect.
Which is fine unless you have multiple untreated infections. Especially in the early stages of illness.
Your friend should have the option of a provider who offers both non-pharmaceuticals and pharmaceuticals. After specialized testings, a treatment protocol would be personalized and discussed and agreed to by both parties.
I wanted referrals to LLMD’s in Arizona to have these requirements for your friend to choose. Being today is Saturday, it was hard to find out each practice’s services offered.
These are simple e-mail formats that you fill out and they respond with LLMD’s in your area. You must research each LLMD referred. To do this, google for patient reviews and call each LLMD provider and ask what their treatment protocols entails.

My friend like myself was in the military. I believe my infection came compliments of the US government after multiple vaccines pre deployment to Desert Storm. I did extensive research when I returned from the was and my health declined. I found Dr Garth Nicholson posting a lot of great information on what Gulf War Illness has in common with Lyme disease.
I will do some research on what you have provided and then present the information to her to see if we can get her the best testing and or a provider that uses symptoms plus tests to diagnose and treat. I used mHBOT to cure mine after 20 plus years of chasing the ghosts of Lyme.
