My Igenex lab, only showed one ++ band that was 41. But because i have lots of symptoms, Dr. decided to start me of with 2000 mg of Cefuroxime. I'm having a hard time taking that much.
Also concerned that he is only treating with anitibiotics, and not addressing other problems.
I was previously diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue syndrome, i feel my hormones are really messed up.

What do you mean "having a hard time taking the 2000mg Ceftin?" Please clarify "hard time".

I know some times when I take antibioitcs ,even a regular dose, I feel like I have been run over by a Mack Truck.

I'm taking Ceftin 2000mg-and I really can't tell if I feel achy and tired because of lyme or ceftin-either way it has been manageable-now that I am off work on disability nd can manage my own time and efforts through out the day.

I also take Probiotics among a host of other supplements.

I'm feeling horrible and i'm not even taking my whole dose. Don't know if it's a flare or the ceftin, therefor afraid to take more. It' causes me alot of anxiety.
I know that dosen't explain things very well, but that's just it, i don't feel like i'm up to explaining.
Please don't read that as bad attitude, it's the brain thing, can't think.

It could be that as the drug kills the germs you are experiencing the toxins the germs release. This is what is called a herx. Taking antibiotics often make people feel worse before they feel better. Hang in there! Hiker
