This is the time of year you get to be anything you want to be.

Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo...

What would you want to be? Or who? Make it FUN!

[Big Grin]

I think I'm going to be Carmen Miranda for a day. The Brazillian Bombshell.

[Big Grin]

"Carmen's Hollywood image was one of a generic Latinness that blurred the distinctions between Brazil, Argentina, and Mexico as well as between samba, tango and habanera. It was carefully stylized and outlandishly flamboyant. She was often shown wearing platform sandals and towering headdresses made of fruit, becoming famous as "the lady in the tutti-frutti hat."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carmen_Miranda

```````````````````````````````````````````````
More about Carmen...
"Was best known for her musical numbers where she wore a costume featuring a hat decorated with fruit."
Ms. Tincup,
I really admire your sense of adventure.
It takes most of my time and energy to get the children dressed and ready for Trick-or-Treating.
I go as "Mom". Not very original or fun, but I go.
I guess I could go as my alter-ego. A witch. As a matter of fact I just got a bumper sticker
That says "My other car is a broom!" [Big Grin]
Hugs,
Geneal
You basically go naked with a tin cup covering your nether regions. [Big Grin]
No offense Ms. TinCup. Just a poke of fun at Don.
After all he knows I am full of it..... [Big Grin]
Ha! You guys are just too funny. But no law against THAT, so go for it!
[Big Grin]
Yo G..
You said.. "I go as "Mom". Not very original or fun, but I go."
I want to see a picture of you and the little ones all dressed up this year.
It doesn't take much effort to get dressed... and unless you plan to go neked... oh my... you gotta get dressed anyhow.
This is a good opportunity to have fun... so DO IT!!! My bet is the kids will have more fun with YOU participating rather than bossing them around.
Then as they get older and you won't let them go places that are bad for them.. they can call you names.. and you can respond..
"No, I am not that... but I was once a "W"itch."
Back later... supper time.
[Big Grin]
Hi all,
Boy, you are all making me laugh! [Big Grin] [Big Grin]
I am going to be Guinevere, I found the cutest costume and it fits me perfectly.
Thomas is going to be a pirate again this year, but he only wants to give out candy and not trick or treat. I am so proud of him for doing that.
Happy Halloween All...... [Big Grin] [Wink] [Razz]
I'm going to be Ladmo. Maybe Charlie remembers who that is, since he once lived in my great State.
It's definitely an Arizonan thing. A man who was revered and loved.
Hence, "Kelmo" He gave me my name!
You guys are right. I should "let down my hair" and have some fun with the children.
Now, to find a costume that is "cute" scary and not difficult to walk in.
Thanks for the encouragement. It isn't much of an effort and probably will go a long
Way to making my children's day.
Hugs,
Geneal
I don't do anything on Halloween. We live in the boonies and used to get about 12-20 kids. Back a few years ago we started getting less and less and I'd just end up eating the candy. Now I just make sure I'm gone that night.
Maybe I should dress like a tick, as I have an appointment with my LLMD that day. Quick, design me a costume!
