Thank you so much again, Robin123!!!!, for the mangosteen juice tip.
My chronic, dull eye pain stopped with the mangosteen juice addition in my diet and I continue it for now.
Sooo grateful!!!
My next question: does anyone have experience with blurred vision and double vision??
It is bothering me a lot and I wish I got my eye sight back - somehow I feel like it is possible - not sure why - I guess since I think it is a Lyme/Bart symptom that will get better when the infections go down.
Hubby did have eye surgery with no improvement.
Pamela Weintraub talks about it in her book and said she got rid of all the glasses she bought, when she got rig od Lyme.
So I am thinking it is a **reversible** Lyme symptom. Please tell me I am right!
When do I get my eye sight back?
(on minocycline, Bactrim DS, and soon Zithro - still have Bart feet/calves and other brain and hand/nerve issues plus the bad eye sight)

My LL opthamologist swears by Carlson's Cod Liver oil (lemon flavor). You can get it on Vitacost. I take about 1 TBS a day.
He said it's great for inflammation.
I have been taking it and my stabbing eye pain has been improving.

Harmony - great to read that you got some relief with the mangosteen juice! It actually cleared up all Lyme eye symptoms for me, including the blurry vision. How long have you been on it and how much are you taking? Maybe you need to give it a little more time -

Robin, I started it in August and have been taking 1 fl ounce am and pm, so 2 fluid ounces per day. That should be enough for long enough, don't you think? I got the Ultra brand you recommended. I suspect the Bart is still raging in my body (judging by other symptoms) and that is why my eyes continue to be affected.
First Zithromax dose tomorrow - I am a little nervous...
penguingirl - yeah, I am on the cod liver oil from Carlsons and did order two of the large bottles from vitacost lately to safe some money - I take it once to three times a day - I take the regular flavor one since I have reacted to citrus before (food allergies) and try to avoid all additives as a rule - it tastes horrible but I tell myself that its very good for me and so I take a large spoon and just swallow the stuff
I wonder if I would be a lot worse if I did not take these great products but unwilling to try to leave them out at this point - I want to give myself the best chance to get better and I think these products are helpful to the body
Giapetto/piper - thanks for the PM

Yeah, I think that would be long enough to see what the juice is doing. Only other thing I can think of is to try the strongest version, Xango. If you're interested in that, pm me, and I will give you further details.
