i am willing to give this a try. sam's stuff tasted so terrible i threw it down the sink.
noni didn't do anything, so i'm looking for the xango brand stuff.
i've seen it for anywhere from 35 to 50 (can you believe that) a bottle.
anybody knew where i can get it cheaper? one time i saw a box at a garage sale, minus about two bottles and the lady sold it to me for 20 bucks....WOW....

I've been drinking a little bit of mangosteen juice every morning for close to 9 months now. I've gotten it at a number of different health food stores in my area. Regardless of the brand name it seems to cost around 35 where ever I go.

Depends upon the brand. The stuff in stores is (in most cases) CRAP. I bought some NOW brand last month when I ran out of the good brand. It was horribly sweet and I got no result at all.
Lesson learned.

NingXia Red is superior...no "junk juice" to water down the active ingredients, higher antioxidant content than Xango...

For me, within the hour! Eye muscle pain and blurred vision started diminishing immediately. Within 24 hours, no more floaters, and greatly reduced light sensitivity.
I think we all respond differently - some rave about Xango, but it's too strong for me. I rave about Ultra and Mango-Xan, and for some, it's too weak. Gotta find what works.
Agree with TnFlower - www.vitacost.com has the cheapest mangosteen juice online.

Does mangosteen have a lot of sugar? The reason I ask is my mother-in-law is losing her sight due to diabetes. I wonder if it would help her?
She just can't have the sugary stuff.

Diabetics are helped by the original mangosteen juice product. 3g of fructose per ounce. You only need 1-2 oz per day... divided up.

Again , what does Mangosteen do for you??
I'm hearing about so many things and am already doubled on what I used to take.. But after 4 years it wasn't enough. So now am trying to pick maybe six of the best and add to doctor's bitty (hah-haha) list. Thanks again, Nonna

For me, it stops all Lyme eye symptoms such that I have fairly normal vision.
It also made my sinuses run for 2 days when I started it, cleared out my intestines for 3 days when I started it and still keeps me regular, and stopped gum bleeding after the 1st 4 days.
It's an anti-inflammatory antioxidant and clears up free radicals created by all the inflammation.

Is mangosteen juice ok while on abx? I'm really leary of putting any sugar into my body and I know juice has a lot of sugar. Natural, but still sugar. I am trying really hard to avoid yeast.
My eye is what let me to a Lyme diagnosis. I had a vitreous detachment and retinal tears.
Right now in my right eye, I have a HUGE floater from the detachment and my vision is distorted because of scar tissue that formed over my retina. I need surgery to correct both.(vitrectomy)
My eyes need all the support they can get. I have some inflammation in my eyes (uveitis). I can't have surgery until the inflammation is down and the scar tissue is done forming.
I'm taking turmeric currently to help with inflammation. I don't know if it's helping yet.

I like curcumin alot - helps take down joint swelling for me.
Yes, it's fine to drink mangosteen juice while on abx. Mango-Xan has one of the smallest amounts of sugar in it.
