Katina Makris, author of ``Out of the Woods: Healing Lyme Disease Body, Mind, and Spirit'' will be at Friends, Philosophy, and Tea, 13850 Bel-Red Road, Bellevue WA this evening at 6:00 pm. Katina is sharing her experience not only as a health practitioner, but as a Lyme Disease survivor who went undiagnosed/misdiagnosed for five years. After five years of treatment she is now sharing her story of this 10 year journey with lyme patients and practioners all over the country! We heard her too - she had CA stops - very interesting, as she was a homeopath before she got Lyme and used a combo of homeopathy and herbs to get better.
She spoke in Santa Rosa, where they would like to raise money to start a rehab hospital for Lyme patients.
