Hurricane Sandy has taken an emotional toll on everyone living here in NJ, especially in the shore areas.
My heart goes out to everyone who is still displaced and living day to day.
My latest post is dedicated to the wonderful memories vacationing at the Jersey shore. Please read the post "Ode to the Jersey Shore" too - they go together.
A big part of healing is about being balanced. A memory can make you feel good. It can put you in a better state of mind. Even if it's for a little while.
Enjoy!

I've always said enemy #1 with this illness is stress. But life (i'll keep it clean) happens.
Stress certainly changes us and it can unbalance one in a heart beat. You northereasterns are very strong people. Sandy & Sandy Nook...It's been shown lately how you guys pull together and tend to others to help yourselves.
Your stories give me faith in mankind.

Tragedies do pull people together. And the power of music can calm the soul.
A moving video for an unthinkable tragedy. My prayers go out to all those that are suffering.
