after my treatment my son took me for a drive down by the beach and we parked and he went into a restaurant to get something and it turned out we were parked in the wrong place so I had to drive out of there and I did it but I'm still really sore I'm glad we went down there but I'm really tired but getting out of the car around it getting in the car driving across the street that was my exercise

Did my balance exercises--outside--such a nice day. Walked 20 minutes.
Am gearing up to vacuum the house tomorrow. Did the dusting, cleaned counter tops etc. today. AM trying not to bend over as I have had vertigo this month.

Chopped up a bunch of veggies for the week and also watered the plants. Could only lift a half full jug so it took me a long time but it felt good to get it done and didn't have to stop for a break.

Greta...good stuff and I understand about having to water plants carrying the water...I so miss living in a house.
Hiker...I get the vertigo stuff too. Thankful for being able to take Rosie out to the forest in the am to do her business.
But, in the pm I usually go out in my power chair. There are times when bending over to pick up her poop is not do able and I need to wait until I am able...
variety of health issues but vertigo is one of them...I really don't want to do a 3 point dive into the ground or a face plant.
Kayak...glad you were able to get the job done..sorry you needed to do it.
Able to get some grocery shopping done this am. Of course after I got home I thought of some more things.
The list thing doesn't work for me since lyme and company so I need to just wing it.
I put the frig stuff away. Resting now and then I will hopefully be able to do more.
it is going to be another hot one today

Hubby soaked up some sun this morning, took a nap and did a foot detox this afternoon.
Worked on his laptop awhile.
Kayak, he got the foot detox on ebay. He says he feels less toxic after using the foot detox. Today the water was really yucky looking.

Thursday August 1st already?!
Last month just flew by!
Had lunch yesterday with old co-workers and went to the museum. Had fun!
Might have an interview today, will let you all know how it goes.
Did my heart good to read what everyone's been able to do today.
I'm still tired lately and haven't got the 'umph' to start exercising again.
See you all later!

thanks man na I have to go back and look at the name of it
greta you and I are doing the same thing right now...do you have a trickfor keeping chopped up vegetables more fresh
mine are often Brown when I get to them and I'm afraid they're Moldy
Ak it bothers me how hard you exercise and didn't lose weight I know you like special foods but I bet if you took a week and only 8 vegetables and fruits and chicken turkey fish real plane just for Week and a little bit of cards like healthy carbs real whole grain bread or brown rice I bet you would jumpstart your metabolism and then when you exercise you'd have results
this advice this coming from someone who is a hundred pounds overweight but I do notice a difference when I do that
I actually did more yesterday then I thought my aloe plant had broken and I repotted and now I have 3I'm counting on them to keep the house clean
this morning I finished up the bills and watered the plants that I had forgotten and open windows they were sad but I think they'll be happy now I'm really tired now I need a nap take care everybody

Mowed the lawn today--had to get the man working on the electrical box to start the mower for me, but it got mowed.
Spent the afternoon with friends playing dominoes. We were going to go into work (get our classrooms ready for teaching), but the hallways were being waxed, so we could not get to our classrooms. Dominoes sounded like the better option.

Friday-Up early to clean my house. I'm fighting a losing battle with the dog hair.
Didn't have that interview yesterday, the job was already assigned to someone else from the temp agency.
Kayak-Thanks for the advice. I did something similar when I first started treatment in 2004. My LLNP put me on a very low carb diet. I think I lost like 20 pounds. It's worth another shot. You'd think with eating healthy and exercising that I would have lost some weight but I didn't lose anything.
Hiker53-I would have opted for games too! Sounds like a day well spent.
Well, let me finish up my sugar-free cocoa with instant coffee and get cracking on the house.
See you all later!

Saturday morning-Drinking my sugar-free cocoa/coffee. Not a very restful night but am going to the movies with Josh (nephew) today. He wants to see the new Brad Pitt movie 'World War Z'.
Got my house quickly dusted, vacuumed and the bathrooms wiped down yesterday.
The other half has vacation next week and we're going to try and put up a gutter on the pump house and putter around the yard. Outside of that it's golf and smoking some meats for him.
Randibear-I dread paying bills around the first of the month. I have a lot them and it takes quite a bit of time to do them all. Consider it a job well done.
Kam-Funny that you mentioned that. I was just telling my Mom and Josh yesterday that some days I have great intentions but then I end up just laying on the couch and either watching tv or reading. Maybe our bodies are trying to tell us something?
Kayak-Thinking of you today and thought you could use one of these...............
TuTu-Am so glad to hear that PT is helping. Sure hope you continue to improve.
Shiela-That's 'getting 'er done'. Some days dinner for us is a can of soup.
See you all later!

its only one day later??? yesterday was very long and at the end i thought it was thursday...but it was my friends fault. SHE thought it was thursday and got me all mixed up.
i ended up talking with some of the right ppl directly and that helped-with insurance and services
still not sure what i have but im pretty sure i wasnt dropped
the cancer center gave us a gift cert for olive garden and my friend was going to drive us there today...but now roofers are late so i dont know if it will happen
i slept good...they would have woke me up at 8 if they showed up on time...but it has taken 2 hrs to get breakfast and feed etta.
she got really sick last night with the runs and moping around. very wierd. i hope she didnt find a dropped pill on the floor. i gave her extra cheese and she seemed to snap out of it...i know she licked a little of my pau'darco tea with coconut oil in it before i caught her.
but the dog site says coconut oil is fine for dogs. good for them in fact. i was happy when she picked up a toy and shook it last night b4 bed.
so...exercise? getting breakfast on my own. now i have to get a sponge bath and dress....i wouldnt bother but with those guys here and / or me maybe going out for lunch i guess i will. \
theres a big pile of dirty laundry in front of the washer...getting that going will be my next chore...er...exercise
hope all have a good day. ps-im not as sore...the whole area just feels sunburned.

My feet are done in again. I hope it's a passing thing. Then today I aggravated some muscles in my leg (again).. gotta quit doing that!
I had to get out of my friend's car while on a slope. I don't do slopes well at all.
Same friend came Sat to help me fix the sauerkraut. That is part of the reason my feet hurt! We are leaving for Texas in a week, so I had to get some sauerkraut to take along.

A friend from out of state rented a couple of cabins 30 min away from me.
Check in time is tomorrow at 2 pm. Hoping my heath is doing well enough to drive out there at sunrise tomorrow am and all that goes along with it: pack bgs, food, clothes, load power chair, etc.
Also hoping they let me check in early as I am not sure what I will be able to handle laying on the cot until 2 pm somewhere in the forest in thta tarea.
Fist I need this brain inflamation to go away. Typing this with eyes closed.
REall not likeing life with lyme right now.
Just wante dto let you know as I will be gone 3 or 4 days if health allows.
