March has come in like a lion. Already about 1/2 foot snow and it is still coming down.
Sounds like neither I nor Tutu made it to church.
Kam's cat is getting exercise by walking on her--silly cat.
Hope everyone is snuggly warm and has a great week.

Snow stopped and my wonderful neighbor came over with his huge snow blower and did the drive in 5 minutes.
Very wet heavy snow--about 6 inches. God bless neighbors who help all of us.
All I had to do was the walk and porch.
Am waiting for the snow plow as I am sure I will have to get back out to clean the end of the drive when it comes through.
Manna--we will get the sleet/freezing rain tomorrow and Tuesday. Hope school is not cancelled.
Rode the exercise bike and may do a few more minutes later.

My brain wasn't working this morning when I posted.. wasn't thinking about the need of a new thread! I hate scrolling through 132 posts also. New record, I think.
Here is my post:
Silly cat!! (kam) Hope you can get her to settle down!
Kayak ..sorry you have to give up the camper. Maybe it will all work out for the best. Hope you can sell the truck and get a great car!
We're stuck inside today. We didn't get too much ice .. whew... and it should melt some today. I imagine that the refreezing will be nasty around here. Lots of runoff on the hills gets dangerous.
Hope hiker survives the snow today .. and it's on its way to the East now.
Cabin fever ... but at least the TV is working again.. Satellite went out for awhile. My paper boy is a slacker .. I guess he couldn't get up the hill either!!

My plan is to use the camper money to get my walk in tub and finish the closet so the whole house will be done
I went to look at and drive and be sure my walker fit into one of the csrs i was interested in. It was all good. But it was very hard for me to drive into the city.
And then i ran into the communiction think. Just when i think i understand the process they go and change it. I would be happy with this car but to get it ihave to drive there again once and then find someone to drive me there a second time tobring it home. Its such hard driving in a place i would never go except for the car i dont think i ll get it. Im afraid id get in an accident as soon as i left their parking lot
There are plenty of dealers in places i can drive to but they dont have the right car. My son found out the other car i wanted was a salvage on carfax and the seller had lied to me
So i may just have to wait. Its gonna take me all week to clean out the c as mper for the buyers and im having a dental problem and i just had a big propane delivery....so i ll just keep on keeping on i guess
Im really not that old but it just seems like everything is changing. Words dont even meanwht they used to. Ppl dont stay between the lines when they drive. They dont go when the light turns green. And if you beep at them they shoot you
Im in a pissy mood huh? I dont like going out of my comfort zone.

phase one of stool sample completed. Resting now then I will read directions to see what is next.
really struggling to be on my feet for phase one. Pain. Saw in a sales thing about an adjustable stool.
That would help with doing dishes and beingin front of bathroom sink.
Not sure how much it was. Noticed it had hand rails too so would be easier to get up and down on it.
Took Rosie out to do her business. Thankfully caught the weather when it was not raining but lots of storm clouds and wind.
not strong enough to get out of power chair and pick up hwer deposit so will need to go back.

OK. Got more of the forms filled out. I hate it that it makes me feel so bad to read nad write and process things ..let alone coming up iwth the best possibel guess to the questions.
Next step is to lay here and rest a bit then drive to FEDEX place and hoping they can take over from there as to how to put on the label and ship. Looks like there is two ways to ship it..box or bag.
Brain also could not figure out lable so hoping and trusting they will get it figured out.
Typing with eyes closed.

so the ride in the car to the packing place will help this am. I would like to take her out daily but health is not up to it.

Really raining but she did not care.
Then back to packing place. He did a one two three thing. # seconds and he had it figured out.
Hate it when my brain is so low functioning. Also windows kept fogging up so got right home afterwards.
looked like i left front door open..screen door closed. so heating was running when i came back and is still running. Need to put ear protection muffs on.
Thankful to be back in bed safely.
Resting now..then ?

Able to figure out that 2 out of 3 were coming and should arrive by Thursday.
Not sure what to do about the 3rd one or which one is an issue. What now. Logic says call them but brain is working well enough to call CVS yet.

kayak, no it is not because anyone is getting old- it is becasue people are ruder and dumber than they ever have been in the history of the world.
no one says thank you, no one cares, no on knows how to have a conversation any more.
Today I just shoveled driveway and walks. went grocery store again becasue I forgot stuff yesterday.
I had coffee yesterday and my heart is beating funny, and again now also. I hope it was just the caffeine.
I vacuumed today already too! yay. ifnally in my bedroom. what a barrel of dust bunnies were under my bed! mostly dog hair I think. our dog doesn't shed in hairs, but she sends off these kind of hair tumbleweeds that float around under furniture. it is kind of amusing.
I started on a bunch of tote bags to get ready for my first craft shows comingup! I am so excited!
I am off any treatment right now and feel so good. I am cramming again....... I hope I dont crash later!
have a great week everyone!

Im home. Sign papers at bank tomorrow. That will be easy if all numbers are right. Bank is a mile away. So if all goes well he is supposed to being car to me wed. But we are getting storm tuesday night. I wish he would wait til later in day but he wants to. Do it first thing.
When i was in the dealership both yesterday and today many times it felt like a mild earthquake. I asked someone and he said lots of ppl are saying that but he wasnt concerned about it Its a new huge fancy building...at first glance you think it is a peaked roof but i just googled pics and it is a flat roof...huge...i hope it doesnt collpse from snow. There was another horse barn collapse by boston today. There could still be some bad situations with snow if we get wet snow or rain. This is one year i have had enough winter Im beat. Two days of hard driving and thinking about numbers. Now i just want it to be over. I dont want it to fall thru after this stress.
But i still have to clean out camper by saturday and take money and sign over title. That will be stressful too. I hope the bank will help me
And then i will sell truck.
I managed to chop a little ice and wash a lot of dishes thru all of this
My gi is not right. Sometimes cramps. Sometimes bad sharp pain...esp left side but theres nothing there right?
Today was worst-might be stress causing gastritis again. I havent received test results yet
Well you guys be safe with this crazy weather. See you soon

Hiker-So foggy here this a.m. made me want to turn my car right around and go back home and get under the covers!
Doing some research today on mobile home repair. Might have to put some blood, sweat, tears and money into the trailer so we can sell it.
Don't want to deal with it but I don't know how we can sell a 1980's double wide without putting some work into it.
Here we go again gang.......

Took Rosie out again but she did not do any business. I think she really wanted her off leash time bu thealth wasn't up to it so went around the apartments in my power chair.
Kind of able to hang a picture in front room. Big picture. Bent nail and brain was in such a fog not sure how stable the hanger is.
Able to address an envelope and get a letter off to friend who i assume is still alive. She is not able to write to me due to hands not workign right
Not sur ehow old they are now..maybe late 80's or 90's.
Able to write check for rent. Planned on signing aper work for rent but manager was not in yet.
will try again later.
wondering why i was doing better at hotle. Latest thougt is maybe it was because I di dnot have computer with me at hotel and when I watched TV that is all I did.
AT home I watch TV and play mindless games on pogo like monopoly or canasta..i can play them even if i can not realy see well
so going to try and just do one or the other today and see if that helps.
dogs are no longer yappping next door nor am i getting cigarete smoke from neighbor so that is out.
food is still an issue. i know i do not eat enough each day so trying to do a better job when able.
also able to detox more at hotle as i could take epsom salt baths...only shower here
so now what?
able to call groomers and make an appt to get Rosie's behind shaved and her nails clipped and ears hair pulled.
Rosie has stopped letting me know when someone is at the door...not sure why..hearing?
i am going to try and treat her when she does let me know
made detox tea and gf oatmeal.
finally got laundry out of car that a friend did for me.
caregiver here this am. She put in two loads of luandry and is vacuuming now .
Also did dishes and put checkin in oven to bake.
And let cat out. She said when she came in the cat was pacing back and forth and mewing in front of the outside door. She guessed the cat ssaw Rosie and I out and wante dout with us.
She guessed right.
Going to veg now as I am at the pint where I want to beat some body up because I am not able to do the things I would like to do this am.
Maybe if I veg a bit, I will be able to do a bit more. We shall see.
TRied to order Rosie's dog food and cat litter on line from Amazon today and got a messge that the shipping ocsts were too high...but I had ordered enough so shipping costs were removed.
Have had no problem in the past so assume ti is a glitch in their system.
Also finally ordered mat or cushion for lounge chair on the patio...look..from antohr site...looking forward to being able to layon my patio with no yapping dogs or cigarette smoke
better yet... or next step on down the line some time is to try a pad and see if i can read
But, need to borrow someon's pad first as i do not want to p
cat is well..afraid of vacuum so sitting very close to me righ tnow. I can not see screen if I wanted to as cat is in the way.

The car deal is not stopped but it is put on hold for a few days. Im kinda glad cuz it was going Ty o be delivered in snow storm day
I just caught up on reading a bunch of days on here. Thank you all for kind words. Lisa i will email that soon
I went out and shoveled fryom snow two days ago. It felt good to do something physical. My phone is ringing like crazy cuz dealers could tell what i was looking at online. And camper ad is still in craigslist
Im a little concerned that the ppl who are sure they want it havent gotten back to me but they were older and traveling so their phone might be off. They were supposed to call me wed when they get home to confirm so i am just taking names of new ppl and will call them if the first ones back out
But all this thinking stuff is stressful
I do need to make room in drive for second car too.
Nothing will happen til tomorrow so iguess i will stop thinking and try to catch up cleaning...and later after salt and sun work i ll shovel one more time
Thanks to all of you for support and being thrre for me

Sleet and freezing rain here. Streets were ice rinks, so school was cancelled.
That's okay. I am getting a cold/sore throat anyway.
I backed my car down the drive just to get to the mailbox. Did not want to walk on the ice.
Worked on my taxes--ugh! Printer is dead, so maybe I can print them at work. I use turbo tax, but I will do the state taxes myself as I don't want to pay for those.
Will be hard to get a new printer for an old computer.

Im surprised that will be a problem...but thats why i have so much trouble understanding styff today. You can get really cheap printers nowbut the ink is so expensive
I went out to camper twice and bagged and boxed up almost everything in it. I chopped ice twice and cleared a lot. Of drive
I was surprised i could do all that. I also took the number of a third person interested in camper. I hung up on two telling me i was crazy and it was over priced
Dont have time or energy for slick, condescending salesmen. Well, one was a woman.
I think neighbor is coming over soon to clean camper. Its gonna be tricky cuz i cant use lights that are in it. The carport has lights and i can bring a lamp in. Its not that dirty but my wrists havegitten so bad with the shoveling. They are weak and painful
We get wet snow tonight. That is better than rain and ice they predicted at first. Hope they are right

need to double check price on dog food..it seemed to cost more this time...need to check with local pet stores..in the past it was a bit less and no shipping charge if you spent $35 or $50 ..can not recall amt righ tnow.

Another person said that PHP takes over medicare. Medicare pays PHP once I sign up with it.
PT has told me it would have been less expensive to just have medicare as PHP is a problem and cost ws going to be more.
Someone else also told me something similar as far as co pays go.
So just waiting things out to see how they go. Businesses usually send out bills at the end of the month.
WE do not really have a choice here for secondary insruances in this county.
Interestng how each state is different. I know some people pay $400 for secondary insruance.
I can not afford that. PHP advantage was just $50 more i think which includes meds.
OK rosie is giving me the look. Time to take her out to toilet even thugh it is still dark.

kayak...i found the toyota echo very uncomfortable. It was good for about an hour but then I would get so stiff and sore.
Looking back..it was just oen of many symptoms that were going on with lyme disease.
I could barely walk when i got out of the car after being in it for an hour.

Kam...i hope that doesnt happen. The only cars im comfotable in for awhile now are trucks. But this shoulder is making it hard to drive them. I dont go out very often now or on long trips or in bad weather but i do need something reliable. The truck is old and passed inspection but it has so many wierd noises i amconsrantly stressed it might break down.
This winter there havebeen a huge number of bad accidents when cars are in breakdown lanes...it is just a stress with a monthly payment and never knowing what will need to be fixed
I am most worried about getting out of car cuz wheen i stand up from sitting in low chair it damages my knees that were replaced
But...i am changing my life so i dont drive much so i hope it will be ok
Positive thoughts to my knees appreciated!

Wednesday-9:38 and done with most of my work already. Another slow day unless sales pick up.
Kam-I wish I could do an Epsom soak too. My tub is so small I barely fit in it!
Kayak-Saw the pic of your new car. It's so cute! What's the mpg on that?
Hiker-That's one thing I'll never miss....driving on ice. It was an every winter thing in AK. At least we could put on studded tires during the winter. Even then sometimes I'd do the slip and slide when I'd have to stop.
TuTu-Thanks for keeping the pic of Kayak's new ride.
Hope everyone has a terrific day!

able to make it to the hair stylist. cut, color and go.
I came home and washed hair. The hair color i had gotten from the local beauty supply place that was supposed to be no stink did not have all that was needed.
So, hair stylist used low stink color she had on hand.
Rode home with window open on passenger side...drivers side window broke.
cold out but did Ok with heater on.
Took long route home and let rosie out to stretch her legs a bit.
Place needs cleaned up again where we go..broken glass, fast food trash, condems....
I just might make a sign saying pack it in pack it out and post it..problem is most come at night so would need light so they could read it.
It would help me more than them.

Driving htere was an issue. Pulled over a few times to spray windows as I was driving into sun and windows kept icing up.
Back window no longer has a defogger that works so could not see out back at all.
20 min later on the drive home and all was clear.
But, also driving home with sun to my back.
Even the side mirrors kept icing over.

Got up and was able to clean up in the kitchen a bit. IT still needs more. Rosie is pushing her bowl with her nose letting me know i need to put food in it.
We just got back from giving her some toilet time acrooss the street.
So, i need to rest a bit and then get up and put food in her bowl.
I also was able to put on a bit of make up, change the ear rings in my ears that have been there since Dec.
And find a ring that fits and a chain and put bird and a torguise drop on the chain.
Rare for me to do these things. Hope to be able to do more today

Kayak..that is a concern. I recenlty saw a video about a person attaching something to help them get out of the car.
It looked pretty good.
If I see it again I will copy and paste it here if able.
Simple gadget but effective. Less stress on the knees.

We have about 3 inches of snow and it may snow all day and half the night. Predicted 6 inches. We're all hoping this is the last storm of the season! It will be in the 50's and 60's this weekend. WOOT!
We have a funeral to attend tomorrow. Sure hope we can get there. Hubby has to play. It's one of our charter members who was in his 90's. Really great guy .. WWII Veteran too.
The roads look good now .. but ... who knows about the morning.
My doctor started me on thyroid meds yesterday. I hope that goes well. I've had symptoms of low thyroid for years, but my tests show low normal. My temp was 96.6 yesterday in the doctor's office! Hello!
We're hoping hubby will have a new job .. he auditioned last night and the guy wants him but said he has to talk to his business partner. We'll see. I know he really liked his music.

Crazy day. Ice melting everywhere. Neighbors that help me all the time have ice dam problem and bad leaks in house. It will cost a lot to fix and do a lot of damage. They have been here ten years with no problem. This has been a bad year
I got to bank and signed papers but now car cantbe deluvered til monday. Hope it is safe iver there
Then camper buyer made contact after being awol for two days...hes all set to brung check saturday
I didnt tell him i wasnt able to locate title....tore the house apart when i hung up and found it
I had to shovel slush from drive or i would have 4" ice in morning
I am resting and will go out once more at 4. Heat of the day
I hope that ice you guys are getting wont land here monday when my car is being delivered
Oh. Worst thing. I hope its nothing. But i found a crack i wall. That is hint house might collapse. This is very small and might only be crack in paint but i am gonna keep checking
There is no snow on roof so not much i can do

Kayak... Maybe it's just a crack since there is no snow there. Hope so!
We only had a few hours of ice and sleet .. It's been all snow since about 10:30 this morning. I guess we have about 3+ inches. Should get about 2 more before morning.
The big worry is how to walk to the car. It has not been shoveled. I bet they will work on it tomorrow AFTERNOON... but we have a funeral to go to in the morning. I'm going to feel terrible for not going but I kind of doubt I'll make it.
I just can't risk falling on the ice/snow .. nor risk finding myself in a car that's crashed into something down the hill. My husband will have to TRY to go .. unless by some miracle they postpone the funeral. I think it's a memorial service, not a real funeral, but I don't know.
Just saw 3 deer run by my window a little while ago. They were being chased by a dog with a collar. Then about 2 min later another deer ran by in the same direction.
The dog chased the deer across the main road. Good luck to whoever owns that dog!

Thursday-Rainy and getting cold here. I didn't wear a jacket today and I'm going to regret it.
Yesterday was my deceased sister's birthday. She's been gone a little over a year and a half now. She would have been 57.
Spent the evening with my Mom and nephew. I'm glad we were together.
Kam-I'm a big fan of turquoise jewelry too. One of my first rings was from my grandfather. He bought me a turquoise and yellow gold ring when I was in the third grade. I absolutely loved it!
Lisa-Hey, at least you can do a push up. I can't do even one!
TuTu-That link that you posted got me teary-eyed. Puts a different perspective on my own issues. Thank you.
Kayak-Beep, beep!
Hiker-42 pages! Egads! We owe, we owe, so it's off to work we go!
Have a wonderful day everyone!

I heard refunds should come in less than 3 weeks. I have someone do mine and was charged the same as last year and not many pages and i didnt have many changes. Two incomes...ssdi and retirement and mostly one deduction-medical. I know my tax lady said things were different and she had a lot to learn this year...but i guess mine stayed the same
I hope it comes back soon too. I scraped to get the car....nothing for emergencies right now
I couldnt get to sleep last night...probably cuz i fell asleep for twohours in chair once i didnt have to de as l with ppl yesterday. The money stuff is really hard on my brain
Finally fell asleep a little after 2:30....yelled at etta when she wanted cheese at 7...she was good and used her potty pad when i got up to pee and i usually reward her for that...but the kitchen was too far to walk just then. So i yelled...she gave up...and we slept til 11
Im waking up slow the way i like...i am so much more productive when i take time for morning routine...all pills...not distracted and forget some
Yesterday the plow guy didnt show up-i think he saw big equipment cleaning snow on our road and decided to wait. But when i went out late the snow had warmed so much i was able to push enough away for new car to fit. It was about 4' high when i started and now is about a foot high but it gets near freezing today so i think i will be able to get it down to pavement and save20 bucks
Ak i dont remember exact milage but it is really good...car is sililar size to honda fit and nissan versa
Sub compact. I dont care that much about gas. I drove 2000 miles in last six months. My big thing is reliability
So later i will shovel. Fix the check book as best i can. And try to
