Welcome to Tracy9 who posted on last week's thread!! Keep it up, Tracy!

Had a good day at church today. We had fellowship between services and I showed the OCC video before the second service began. People get excited about this ministry!

Hoping I can get the stuff ready for the shoeboxes this week. Gotta get my car fixed first!

Hope everyone has a great day!

Morning prayer at church today. Lovely piano music. I stayed to listen to her play after the service and skipped coffee hour.

Raked leaves for about an hour. Still many more to fall, but I'll do a bit at a time.

Can tell my headaches are from the sinus infection. Can feel toxins moving out now that am using zeolite again.

Have a wonderful week.

I dont know what zeolite is but hope ak knows about it!

Free yard sale went good. I ignored creepy ppl and met some really nice ones. They found stuff they could use and were gratefull and it made me feel good to be able to help instead of always being the taker

One couple were so happy to take a lime green hat and pompoms for their daughter. I had them at the lyme protest at westchester medical many years ago. I have pics of me with dr b and sandy b in front of building. I wish i knew how to post it on here

I think theres only two totes left and they areby road...hope they are gone in morning

I need a rest and to warm up and then plan rest of week. I want to play in yard....but baseboard is priority. I think i have a mammo too

I did way more than four 5 min of walking soi will be in rerecliner rest of night

Also talked to brother i dont get along with. We had a better conversation than we have had in a long time. That made me feel good too

Good to hear things are going good tu t u

Hi tracey!!!

Oh...one more thing...and its about a texan!

At the protest i brought a wheelchair even tho i didnt need it as much as i do now

My plan was to push it like it was a walker and then have a "chair" where ever i needed one. Well...a good lookin young man asked if i needed a push and i said no. I can do it...but he really wanted to push me so i let him. I hadnt realized he was having a really hard time walking and pushing me in the wc helped him...and in our conversation i found out he had come all the way to ny from texas for the protest

I sure hope he got good tx and is ok now

Hmmm. Phones actung funny...not sur if i am really on

Had wierd nightmares all night about beung late to work?!?!?! Havent worked in ten years

Im off to a pretty good start...after cleaning up yardsale last night i saw someone was selling metal bakers rack. Very sturdy and close. I bought it for $15. Its perfect for office. I needed one more shelf.

It has one shelf big enough for old tv i am hooking up to watch old vhs and dvd stuff. Then it has four more shelves for books, copier etc. That room is done!

This morning while pills start to work i figured out a few passwords...hadnt been able to really get on fb or check credit card and washed a million dishes

Im resting a bit before going out to do impt errands...mostly meds

Hope i get exercise room prepped for worker wed so i can reward myself by playing in gardens a little....maybe even mowing yard last time

Hope everyone has a good day...we get hikers rain late tomorrow

Monday-Read the tail end of what everyone was doing last week. Did a quickie wash and vacuum on my car Saturday and the rest of the weekend I rested. I've been so tired lately.

TuTu-Good luck getting your window fixed! It's been raining here like crazy! Bad time of year for a window not to work! Josh hurt his back Saturday too so he's kind of taking it easy. Hope your hubs gets better soon!

Hiker-Zeolite huh? Something for me to google. My sinus are draining like crazy still! I'm taking Amoxy, Mucinex, saline rinses and serrepeptase. Worst infection I've ever had. Didn't eat hardly at all over the weekend, maybe just about a cup of breakfast things for 2 days. Just slept alot! So ready to feel better, how about you?

Kayak-I HATE having family problems! Nothing puts me through the wringer more than family fights. I'm glad to hear that you're making some headway with your brother. I wish I was closer to my brother but he's way too busy and basically we see him on some holidays and birthdays.

RosieKam-I like that! Did you find your cards yet? Sometimes I find stuff in my car when I don't take my purse. Also I've crammed things in my cellphone wallet/cover. Good luck!

Tracy9-Very impressive! I need to get started working out too. It's on the horizon now that my SI joint is recovering nicely.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Monday!

i really like the idea of doing what tracy did too but have yet to start doing it.

keep posting tracy...hoping some of you will rub off on me

goal for today is to make sure i eat well. Still pretty out of it. I know I need to get out of apartment a lay i power chair.

I know it will help. but, for some reason I am having trouble getting out there and doing it.

I do not want to deal with neighbors and I do not want to put on my ear protection muffs but i need to in order to not deal with neighbors or the traffic noise

I was able to go thru about 10 min worth of papers in one of the boxes. I have started two other boxes: one for medical papers and one for to be filed later and of course one pile is for trash.

tried this before and got confused so hoping i do not get confused

So Zeolite is more of a chelator? I thought it was just another binder. Guess not!

http://www.zeolite.com/

Which one do you use, hiker?

I like Living Clay as a binder. Works well, but I have trouble squeezing it in during the day.

I use ACZ nanozeolite as a chelator. Works for viral toxins, bacterial toxins, candida toxins, and heavy metals. Pretty expensive, but really works for me.

I still have that sinus infection. Some days I think it is gone and then the next day I am blowing my nose and have a headache. As AK said, it is very persistent.

I did walk after raking yesterday. Gorgeous out today, but I will here at work late grading essays.

Ended up being a very wierd day that included a crying jag. I just want this house finished so bad

I should be so happy the weather is as good as it is

I painted 34' of baseboard and made a chicken soup and took a very engorged tick off etta. I left the head parts in and dont know if i should go to vet or just let it go...i think its her third tick nd she is five. She got doxy both times. It will be a minimum of $75. To walk in the door...and i dont know if they will give her doxy

I had another very emotional talk with brother that has the most money of all of us about what to do about the two who arent making it.

I feel like a rung out dishrag....and im not really ready for the worker on wed

Hope i carch up tomorrow

Seems like we all need sleep and a few need sinus help

Tuesday-Had very little sleep. Late night ironing a couple of things after work and doing a scalp treatment for psoriasis. Tumbled into bed exhausted around 1:15. My late Monday's are a killer!

But....I'm going to Buffalo Wild Wings tonight! One on my ex co-worker's is having a little get together for her B-day. She's such a sweet single Mom and I enjoy her company so much. So, I'm going to suck it up and go eat some 'wangs'!

Rosie-I need to go through some boxes this weekend too! I have to find my birth certificate and other things so I can go get my GA driver's license. I took the 19th off for a medical test that I have to have done and might as well go to the DMV while I'm at it. Oh joy!

TuTu-Thanks for the Zeolite link! I still haven't taken all the things I ordered from Amazon last week. Still on just the serrepeptase. Trying things slowly to see if I can take them. I bought powdered pectin as a binder but it gels right in my mouth and I end up have to suck on my teeth for awhile to get that stuff off! I look ridiculous, similar to a cow chewing it's cud!

Hiker-Wouldn't hurt to check into that brand of zeolite. Might be out of my price range. I've been buying so many things again but this time I'm trying them one at a time for a week to ten days to see how I do. I bought some type of magnesium (expensive) that I couldn't take at all! It went straight to my head! Made me feel like I was drugged. I bought my Mom some too and told her NOT to take it. I was afraid she'd get dizzy and fall. Oh well....trial and error I guess for alot of us.

Kayak-Oh no! Poor little Etta! I hope she's going to be ok. I used tweezers on Rocky when I found ticks on him. Living in the country it was totally unavoidable with all the ticks out there. I treated him faithfully with Frontline Plus every month so they usually didn't live long but just couldn't stand the sight of them. I use to pull them off and then drown them in the toilet! I HATE ticks!

Have a great Tuesday everyone!

restarted computer and was able to get chrome back (I have my passwords saved on chrome so this is a good thing)

Feeling less like a fully loaded semi truck ran me over but still having to stay down for the most part and not able to get outside...too cold and wet.

rosie just gave me the look...so i will be going outside to toilet her after I type this.

able to take her out this am via the power chair across the street to the field.

able to put some laundry away and pick up a bit so the caregiver could vacuum..

but she did not have time to vacuum again this am.

she did make pancakes and some biscuits. i tried to find the two books I have: Lyme Diet and Beginners guide to paleo diet but can not find them.

need to get some food in the house that i will eat.

neighbor dropped by and said she thought the people who smoke were called into a meeting this am as the community room across from the office was closed.

all speculation...but my hope is the entry way will no longer be the designated smoking area and that another area is set up that will keep smokers dry and comfortable while out smoking.

Rosie--Too bad they just can't ban smokers from your apartment building.

Good day at work. Intern is a huge help. I only have for this week and next week.

Walked 25 minutes after work with trekking poles.

Kam .. I do think they will move the smokers. They probably met to discuss a new site for their smoking.

kayak .. get Etta some doxy! Go to the pet store if you have to and get some fish doxy.

AK .. hope the wings and the company are great!

I had to go to the nearby city today. Not sure what I will be doing tomorrow. I think I'll be headed to our church in the morning to work on the shoeboxes. I hope to do some shopping for the boxes, but I have to find out how much we can spend. My money guru is getting the info for us.

It's supposed to rain/storm tonight. Not sure how much rain we'll get. I did see a few pretty trees in the city, but it's a pretty lousy year for color.

Ak....for future i will tell you there are stories of ticks crawling back up out of toilets

Best is to put them in ziplock bag. They die pretty quick...a few days. If you can put a bit of permethrin in bag they die rught away

Vet gave me doxy. Im surprised and very happy. Many stressful things happened today. But i did paint baseboard second coat and it looks great...im resting so i can make paths to five areas he wil eork on tomorriw

Landlord from beach house texted that i left hot tub on and didnt lock door...it was crazy but he had me windering until he said i left a glass of water there but i didnt drink the water at all...i had a case of bottled water...so when i tild him that he realized simeone must have found keys where he told me to hide them

It was upsetting cuz it will be the perfect place fir me and kids

He works five min from there and it took him7 days to go check out house

I think he realizes it wasnt me...hope so

Kayak .. Glad he said something about the water .. so I hope that will keep you out of "hot water!" [Big Grin]

Very happy you got the doxy for Etta. Can you give dogs probiotics?

Re: dead ticks... I would put them in a bag and then crush them .. or put them in the freezer. No toilets for me either!

Yes...probiotics saved me many times when i had the schnauzers...from explosive diarhea to nothing in less than an hour...they are known for having sensitive tummys...plus they were on doxy a lot when we lived in hudson valley

Etta will get probiotics...but not my vsl3! I need that stuff so bad but it has changed my financial situation

Im working on getting pills in so i am ready for worker...ohhhh i hope he comes. The rain is here but i have a space for his saw in csrport

Wednesday-Hopefully done for the day. It's 9:52 and I had very little to do. I had so much fun last night but didn't get into the bed until around 1 a.m. again. Hoping I can make it through the day and then off to get my haircut at 5.

MUST STAY AWAKE!!! [sleepy]

Rosie-So many of my coworkers smoke. One guy smokes right outside the front door and the smoke just wafts right in to my desk. It's about 15 feet from the door!

It'd be wonderful for us not to be subjected to second hand smoke!

Hiker-Enjoy the help while you can. I know Josh would! BTW, way to go on the 25!

TuTu-Shoebox project sounds like a fun and rewarding thing to do! At my old church we'd sell fruit as a fundraiser and I'd lug boxes and boxes of the stuff and help out with the sale. My favorite part was sampling the wares. LOL!

Kayak-What!? Ticks don't die in the toilet!? Just the thought of them crawling out disgusts me. What about squishing them with tweezers and burning them? I don't know if I could wait a few days for them to die in a baggie. Knowing me, I'd be checking throughout the day to make sure the suckers didn't escape!

Ok gang.....I'm going to end on that happy note.

Have a great day!

went for a drive in the car looking for another undeveloped housing track to take rosie for some off leash time.

found an area with some very wide streets and large homes and fields here and there...but all the dog walkers had their dogs on leashes.

Dang.

but, it was good to be out.

I also just laid down and then got back up to kind of make bed so i could put my feet on covering i have on bed while i raise knees for lap top.

then got back up and turned light off.

then got back up and got mouse and pad.

the reason i mention this is it is rare i am able to get back up after laying on bed the first time.

that was my exercise. done it. i still am hoping i might be able to get back up and do somethings that are on my mind.

2:10 pm boy i have been pretty out of it...not sure where i went after the outing this am.

i do recall waking up in the recliner as the cat was walking on me and getting right in my face.

i guess she wanted to make sure i was a live.

rosie must have been worn out too.

just took her out for her mid day peeing. back laying down.

i feel like i could go back to sleep. but hoping to be able to do some things.

Worker came two hours late and brought his son. I paid the boy to weed one space for half hour. He was a really good kid. Learning from dad

He did it all in 3 hrs. Almost all i have to buy 8' more and paint it. But i thought it would take 7-8 hrs so i still have money for him to finish that piece and also finish painting bath. It really looks good

My belly is not good. I went a week without vsl3 and ate some wierd microwave food when i was at beach house. I got the vsl a few days ago...but im getting worse. I think it takes awhile to help...i hope i dont run out again. I hope i learn my lesson too

Im trying to find big(4x6, 5x7) area rugs you can wash in machine for living room. I want to protect floors now...but i also want to be able to throw them in washer. They are all more than i want to pay

Its going to keep raining tomorrow and get windy at night. I plan to wax floors on inside of closets and by end of day put stuff back in them and get it out of rooms

I also have to try to do something to keep canopy ftom flying away in the strong winds tomorrow. I am so lucky we havent had bad weather yet

I have a feeling im going to feel like hunkering down with a quilt anda book and listen to the rain fall...and i might just do thst

Take care. Stay away from those tornadoes

Thursday-Yay, one more day! Didn't have any paper or computer work this a.m. Just made the coffee and some sales folders. It's 8:43 and I'm done outside of answering the phones. What a relief.

My haircut is a super short pixie and I just love it! Too short to straighten so it's a wash and go. How convenient is that? My hairstylist thought it'd be too short when I showed her a picture but once she was done she loved it!

Afterwards struggled home then jumped in the shower. Took a sleeping pill and had a vodka/oj and went straight to sleep after a few rounds of Candy Crush.

I feel so much better!

Rosie-My Mom is going out of town this weekend so me and Josh are on our own. Hopefully (weather permitting) we can take Ada and go for a walk on the paved trail at the rec center. Haven't been outdoors in too long.

Kayak-I used to love doing all my home improvement chores but now I just don't have the time. One thing I'm squeezing in is working on an ugly Christmas sweater for our competition here at work. First time we've had one. I bought a sage/celery green old shorter cardigan and some 3-4 inch plastic angels playing instruments that I'm going to paint and sew on. Also going to paint the buttons like candy canes and add a few other items. Hopefully it'll be hideous!

Have a fabulous day everyone!

That does sound pretty hideous, AK! Good job! [lol]

I also have pixie hair cut. Got it cut that way a few months ago. I like it OK. My hair is so lack luster now because it's pretty straight.

Kayak .. Have you tried getting a prescription for VSL#3? I got it SO CHEAP several years ago doing it that way. All I had to do was pay a copay and my doctor prescribed it heavily so I could take less if I wanted to... and I did.

It went a LONG way, but because it contains dairy I had to stop taking it.

I worked at the church for two hours on the shoeboxes. I have at least two people coming tomorrow to help set up for Saturday. We'll be there all morning tomorrow and nearly all day Saturday. Whew...will be glad when I can get my life back! HAHAHA!

I hope to see my husband's show again tomorrow with some friends from church.

Hope everyone is having a good evening. I'm pooped, but I'm still washing clothes this evening.

TGIF! Yay! Well, another late night. Went to bed around 12:45. Brother and his family came over last night for my Mom's B-day. They left before 10 so that put me behind with my evening chores.

It's Friday and I CAN DO IT!!!

TuTu-Thanks for the vote of confidence in regards to my 'project'. Your weekend sounds like a busy one. Hope you enjoy yourself!

Kayak-I'm still under the weather. Smelling that bad oder from my nose again. It's not as bad but still need to sniff some salt and take something again. BTW, those muffins sound wonderful!

The weather has cleared up here gang so I'm hoping Josh, Ada and I can do some walking this weekend. That's the plan anyways!

Have a great weekend!

[hi]

Ahhh..i figured it out. For once talking to t-mobile ppl helprd me solve the problem

I am exhausted and still dealingvwith gi stuff. So is etta. From doxy. So i am sharing vsl3 with her afterall but shes getting a tiny bit

She gets a bit of vsl wuth a small amount of foood and 3 hrs later gets 1/4 dixy with larger amount of food. 3 hrs later vsl and repeat. Shes a happy girl being offered food every 3 hrs and getting to nap in between

Im on a simila . Schedule and totally gluten free again and almost dairy free

It was very wundy here this morningvso i made myself get up and finush screwing all the screws to keep the canopy frim flying off. I think it will work if i can handle the snow

Im exhausted tho. And only 4 hrs sleep again. So except for that and feeding us every 3 hrs. All ive done is mop and wax a few spots where i can move furniture back so i can start really putting this place back together

I made steel cut g f oatmeal that will last a few days too. But i really need to shop and cook better food to freeze. Its bad when i run out of food and get too sick to cook. I end up eating at druve thrus and then i pay

For four hours some guy has been.target shooting up on the hill with automatic weapon of some sort. Its almost hunting season but i swear he could have shot a herd of buffalo todsy. Its getting on my nerves. Ive lived herr 3 years and never heard this.

Ak...i dont know what to ssy. Its awful your gettingvworse. You have tried so mny things including doc. I wonder how hiker is doing. I have had to take congestion meds regulrly...and i dint usually have to...so i guess there are a lot of bugs out there.

Sometimes i wake up stuffy with headache but the meds work in a few hiurs and i dint get worse

Do you have ins at your job? Do you think a specialist could help?

I know tutus at a show. Hope kams ok

AK .. Did your sinus bottle get ordered? Go to Walgreen's and get one ASAP! [Smile] Hope you have a great weekend!

Kayak.. hope you have time to get food today and feel better! Poor Etta having to take doxy. ICK .. but at least she enjoys the food!

The show was great today. One of my best friends from church came and she brought her grandson. Her grandson is taking flute lessons from my husband so it was great that he got to see the show!

I'm exhausted too. Spent nearly 4 hours getting things ready for the packing party on Saturday, then went to the show. WHEW! Came home and put more candy in bags, (which I had to buy at WM after the show.)

I need to get to bed ASAP!

Very sorry to hear about all the terrible stuff going on in Paris. We need to pray for all of them. God bless us all.

The world is getting even crazier

Sunny, windy and beautiful sunset here today. I picked up a little and made 6 loaves and 12 muffins all gluten and dairy and sugar free bread

Some of them look wierd the ones i tasted were ok. I wont have to bake for a longvtime!

Tummy is better but still sensitive. Now its not so much when i eat that it hurts as when my stomach gets empty

Im starting to get concerned about the ibuprofen again...and cutting back which means imin more pain. Just dont know what to do sometimes

Ettas a little better. If i give her probiotic 3 x a day she seems to be able to handle half a doxy so that will make it. Way easier

So is kam having computer problems? Has she been on fb? Hope shes ok

Tutu...those shoeboxes are impressive! Woo hoo! Too bad you cant post it here

I think tomorrow will be a little warmer. Still plenty to do in house but i may reward myself by playingvin garden a bit

Hope hiker (and her mom) are ok. And everyone else too

Sounds yummy, kayak! [Smile]

Glad Etta is doing better!

Yes, kam is having trouble with her internet.

Thanks on the shoeboxes! Glad you got to see them! I had to go shopping again to finish out about 18 boxes. I have a feeling we'll have to go out one more time on Monday. But at least we have donations for all of that!

Now I have to get busy writing thank you notes to all who helped.

back on line. all i did was unplug things and plug them back in.

same as i did on friday...several times but it did not work. this time it did??

a friend said maybe something is wrong with the wiring in the apartment. it is not the first time i have had trouble with the wiring in this bedroom but it was another outlet that time.

so, moving the body wise...not so much...although i did wash my clothing this am and my sheets.

that was like climbing a mountain.

using a sleeping bag on bed until caregiver coms and can make bed for me.

in a bad attitude but feeling better because i am able to make this connection with all of you know.

going to read your posts when able..right now having one of those heat waves so need to cool down. babesia flaRE

Sunday. I know we need to start a new thread but brain is not in gear enough to do so.

Wanted to come here and read your posts but brain is not helping me so will try again later.

So far, feed the cat and dog, I think. and filled the water bowl of the dog. Need to check the cat litter box and water bowl of cat next get up.

got up twice because the cat was mewing which means she wants something. Went to door twice as she usually wants out about an hour before sun rise.

Second time. Able to pick her up and put her out as she was not co operating as far as telling me she wants out and then not going out ...ok when I am doing well enough to be up and about...but not ok when i am in bed and i get up to let her out and she doesn't co operate and then a few minutes later does the same thing...glad I was able to pick her up and put her out this am.

she will be wanting back in soon. I am waiting for excedrin to kick in. then need to get dressed and get Rosie out to toilet as she will be letting me know she wants out...dang....ok when i am doing well enough and am up trying to do things but not ok when i am still trying to clear the cobwebs in the am.

on second thought..it was just the modem that would not light up so must not be the apartment wiring.

just glad it is working...and yes...tech support does suggest you do this and then that and then this and then that..
