Hi all-

If you go to the website www.lyme.org you can order lyme bracelets for $3 (or 4 for $10). I just ordered mine.

Also, the site seems to be pretty good regarding information, events, etc. There's even a lyme benefit fashion show on May 23 in NJ!

HI David,
The lyme bracelts do grab attention with their bright color (and they even glow in the dark!). I bought a bunch about a year ago. Sent some to our state senator who has helped us with insurance, school policies and with legislation.

We also gave one to Greg's principal and guidance counselor. I wasn't sure if the men would wear them or not. Greg had been sick so over 2 years and no longer able to attend school and being home tutored.

Was quite angry when we went to a team meeting and neither one was wearing it. I figured they could at least put it on for the meeting to support Greg.

Then I found out from the son of the guidance counselor (who goes to my school) that his dad gave it to the son to play with. I was really ripping then! This isn't a disease to be taken lightly.

I would have rather they just said no thank you and I could have given it to someone who cared!!!

Thanks for letting me vent!!!
Kathy
as always,
