WEST PALM BEACH

a 53 yo ex dentist delivered a 1lb 3 oz
lyme green kidney stone yesterday.

this was the first time in history a kidney stone was lyme in color.
after 20 hours of excruiating labor the stone was delivered at 10:00 est Feb 22,2007.

the stone was taken to O'tooles Tavern and
is now a shrine for many Irishman.
People have been coming from all over the country to "KISS THE LYMIE STONE"

the man went thru a painful ordeal and afterwards was intervued as saying," IT IS MUCH EASIER TO REMOVE A TOOTH THAN TO HAVE A KIDNEY STONE"
He also said i'm now ready to deliver a child.

some facts have been expoded to make the text more enjoyable.

osp :

THIS WAS A JOKE.
KIDNEY STONES ARE ONLY SEVERAL GRAINS OF SAND LARGE.

i did, and still do have a stone as many know, but though it had passed to went to urologist.

ivp showed left kidney still blocked this morning.

so i guess we'll have to want to kiss the lymie stone

pain stopped last night and it is down very low, it will probably pass it self.

unforunately i get these every several years
but it was such a terrible timing issue, when trying to sell a house.

Talk about your blarney! [Big Grin] I knew the stone couldn't be that big, but as a public service for Lyme awareness, it would really help if you could pass a big one to put on display! Make those other stones green with envy!

Decades ago I wrote an article about lithotripsy (sound waves) being used to dissolve stones, but that approach seemed to become less popular. I rarely hear about it anymore.

I guess if they think the stone will pass by itself, that's the best way.

Acorn, love the squirrel photo. I should display it here in San Diego given all the border issues and talk.

Hey docdave,

I'm sorry to hear you're still stoned.

Acorn, my littlest lymie cracked up at your latest photo.

...sportin' my new gold tooth,
Nancy
