Yesterday I went for a computerized mental health screening.

It measures the electrial/magnetic (?) energy at the different accupuncture meridians in the presence of various substances.

This is what it said:

1. lyme heavy in CNS disrupting neurotransmitter function, especially sleep.
2. Lyme also in liver, bladder, uterus, connective tissuek and thyroid
3. Yeast big problem in small intenstine, lungs, liver, adrenals.
4. I can't eat....most foods! I am hypersensitive to everything! (which I am not suprrised by, but some staples came up bad).
5. All of the abx i have been given are not effective right now.

She suggested I get the yeast under control via a more restrictive diet (don't know how much more restrictive I can get!!!!)

I agree with this as I had stopped my ABX when i went away and felt better. I had a feeling that the yeast was getting the way.

Saw my llmd today and he agrees to hith the yeast hard now. He used muscle testing on me to test yeast and said it was high-it has been at every visit.

He muscle tested my son too (ABX) since Oct and said he is loaded with yeast.

He also said my son would have to change diet for yeast and to address consitpation issue.

Soooooo, off we go on our restrictive diet. I am going to do this slowly as i don't think my son could do a cold turkey change.

My biggest problem will be his father and grandparents and going to friends houses-every gives the kids junk!!!!!

I have hope-I think we've made progress and this attack on yeast is the next big step.

A white dove flew into my house yesterday after my visit. he was very docile and just hung out for a while. my dad was able to catch him and the kids pet him. A sign, you tell me....

very interesting dmb!

I had this done too and yeast showed up all over the place and my adrenals were low.

what are you going to be treating the yeast with?

Just a thought re. the constipation issue. I am a huge fan of magnesium to relieve constipation. Especially since many of us lymies are deficient in magnesium.

You may want to slowly increase magnesium until bowels loosen up. It may surprise you how much magnesium it takes.

My family dr. tested me because he was alarmed how much I was taking & I still came up magnesium deficient! Dr. C. in MO says no need to fear overdosing on oral magnesium if you proceed slowly because your body will expel excess through the bowels (you'll get loose stools).

Another good thing about magnesium is that it boosts the immune system. I read that the borrelia bacteria uses our magnesium & that's why so many of us are deficient.

I like the magnesium tip for him-is there a powder available? I take mine in caplets and he won't swallow a pill.

Right now, our only plan is diet and probiotics. i think i will add the magnesium too.

Diet is going to be a big hurdle for the family-americans are so carb dependent! And packing a 2nd grader a yeast friendly lunch requires brain cells... i don't always have those!
